It has lived up to its name so far hhaha so this week has been crazy! we're on a car share so we are biking a ton.... no. i am so fat!! seriously! so out of shape! sis C is just like a 6 yr old. so she is bouncing around 24/7 not even playin!! so i also get to feel super old! hahaha. this week we had the 1/2 mission xmas conference! me and sis H sang a song....... i was ganna pee my skirt!! seriously! so scared!! i haven't ever shaken so hard in my life!! ahhh!! it was crazy!! i recorded it so i'll send it home this week :). the party was super fun though!! i loved it!! i feel like when im hittin a rut and i want to just die! Heavenly Father helps me out in ways that i can make it through to the next trial!! i swear, we are biking more than driving!! yet the elders keep askin us for rides when they are suiper close to home hahahha funny elders!!

we were at this crazy members house and her bf looks like santa. but he wasn't very nice! he totally said i was on the naughty list :P lame pants!! elder brewington said he was flirtin with me... this just got awkward!! than santa was bein all sassy, and it was fun until i got here. blah blah blah!! later that night he said im on the good list now and gave me a hug! i just stood there, i was with sis C and the elders! i was left to fend for myself! ahhhh! so yes. i hugged santa... i don't know how i feel about it! we are still tryin to get our groove, we're visitin people. i have received like 4 more gmas and gpas and 1 more mamma! hahah my family tree is growing faster than i can comprehend!

im learning more about sis C every day!! its the funniest movie of my life, i really would like it to be recorded all the time. that's my mission, to record her! hahaha

we went to choctow bay Saturday to visit a LA member. than we ate our lunch on a dock out in the water!! sooo muucchh funn!!! it was cloudy and windy and possibly a little sprinkly!! but it was sososo beautiful!! i have confirmed my fear of the ocean, but i still wish i was a mermaid hahaha than we went and found a beach area to run around in the sand :) we took some sand! halla!! hahahhaaha,

so we were biking our brains out right and sis C is way faster than i am. but i talk to more people than she does. so this one time, we were on our way home, she was already a good chunk in front of me, too far to hear me! she rode past some people but i stopped and talked to em!! super awesome and prepared, she took a BoM and i talked to her about it for a few mins. sis C is long gone by this point! so this lady isn't from town she is just workin here for the day. sis C finally i guess realized i wasn't there and came back. but by the time she did i was sayin goodbye!! hahaha. this is interesting!! we have decided that im ganna make a giant child leash :) that way we will never loose each other! and we can stay together!!!

in conclusion i have discovered that there is something different about this area. it feels... different idk how to explain it lol. like i feel the love in the air. there is great potential here, its strange!! tons and tons of people keep tellin us that we're doin amazing and that we're tearin it up and that they love us!! shu. what is goin on? idk my heart starts to stir just thinkin about it!! what is goin on!!! hahaha this is ganna be an interestin transfer!!

Transfer/Being Brave

Well!

so a lot has happened since last Monday! im here in Niceville with a new companion. sister cooper. Monday late afternoon the ap's called us sayin there was a mistake on the transfer sheet and that me and sis h were getting separated! I am still whitewashing, now im doin it with sis cooper! she is from  northern California. she is like nobody ive ever met! seriously! hahaha I made some videos so when I send it hope ya'll will understand! I love her.  so we live in a 2 story apt with 2 beds and 1 1/2 bath. its a big place! haha tile floors so its chilly in the morning I get to wear my slippers everywhere! im nervous that ill forget to change shoes when we go out. we had nothing when we got here. no gators, a couple LAs they were workin with, a couple pages of potentials, the elders cleaned the apt hard core apparently. it was way messy I think hahaha the desk drawers were full of crap!! and nasty stuff that I won't mention because it makes me gag! why are girls so gross!!! haha. seriously. we're gross! anyway the last few days in tally were sad!! everyone was so upset that we were both leaving!! like seriously upset! we had a lesson with bro keith one more time and lets just say I teared up!! we made a video of explaining the experience because I cant type it. nothing comes to my mind!! it was a sad last few days though. I didn't know we made that big of an influence until we told them we were leaving!! anyway!! here in Niceville. where everyone is super nice!

there is a great and spacious building. the big Methodist church that basically runs the community! its not a very big town. the ward is huge!! so many people were talkin smack about it, but I rebuked them and stopped listenin. the ward members here are sooo nice!! they haven't had sisters here for a while. so they have grown relationships with the elders. we're comin in empty! hahaha but the ward is super super nice!! we have friends already! there is sooooo much work to do! so much work to do! its just us 4 missionaries in the ward. the ward is on the verge of splitting if you get what I mean. BIG! we have gotten 5 new gators in 3 days.  the elders were flippen out!! elder brewington and elder Swenson.(new missionary).  lol oops! I still don't know how to act around elders! awkward! but we had a member come out with us yesterday and have gotten member referrals!! people are flockin to us! im feelin a bit overwhelmed hahah like soooo much to do, but not enough time!!  we are on a car share. so we bike every other day! legs of steel are comin back baby!! legs of steel! so here is a crazy story, we had an apt to do service at a members house, we had the address in our roster, clear on the other side of town so we started out early!! HILLS  are Alive!! there were so many hills! I haven't biked like this in forever!! oh my gosh!! so it took us like an hour to get there. we knock on the door, the member doesn't live there :( but we got a new gator from the new owner of the house! super nice!!. we called the member, no answer, we called the elders. they were makin fun of us a lil bit. haha they came to our rescue and picked us up. the members house was clear on the other side of town! we biked in the wrong direction. ugh!! so I feel like a lot of the time these past 5 days we were damsels in distress's! we met with part member families and got new gators from them! and we have like tons to do!! yet with bikes, its limited. also its freezing! wet wind is so cold!!!

me and sister cooper are workin hard. sis cooper is fearless! not even playin. fearless! so that is good! this area is about to explode with awesomeness! hahahaha its weird workin with elders closely again, also its weird not havin to refer gators and potentials to other wards! there aint nobody around!! so we're in the fort walten zone, that's all I got for you! we were at a ysa dinner (also weird that we can go) and everyone was sayin which ward they are in. I forgot em all. as well as their names! I am getting better at directions and the basic land marks! hurray!!! hahahaaha this is ganna be an interestin transfer!!! that's all ive got to say about it!

XMAS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO CLOSE!! we have a lunch apt on xmas day! I still want to get breakfast and dinner apts hahahah we're on it!! OH another thing is that like 1/2 the ward is military! there is a base here. so lots of people in and out. fun! thisll be fun! until next time

its a pro con type of thing. anyway!! this past week has been fun!! so much has happened and I don't know what to say! dagum main points though? well we found out that bro bell has been reading BoM!! like really reading it!! that is incredible!! bro keith is done with BoM! hurray!! we got 2 new gators! wendy and alia! a yws friends!! theyre ganna be taught onfriday with the other sisters. this area is bein white washed! so is Niceville!!  we taught a guy about family history at the center this week! it was awesome! he is another prepared potential gator!! than we went to a bell choir in a Baptist church with a member! super fun! I made a video! the bells make really cool sounds! than there was the ward xmas party! it was super fun!! good food! and there were tons of people there!! on sunday we saw the xmas devotional! different this year. why is this email so short?? lame pants. well be sure to look at it next week. there will be lots of juicy details of Niceville! ahhhh! this is crazy!!

Newest letter this week!

HELLO!

This week was a lot of ups and downs! so sis H has still been sick. :P and that means alot of alone time... my brain just Runs!! its aweful! hahaha im goin a little crazy!! oh well nothin i can do about it :) Our gator Sis Bill moved!! :( we went out to eat with her one more time. i seriously miss her! she was so sweet! she bought us hats and gloves and scarfs as a goodbye present! because it is cold here!! haha Tuesday we had zone training and me and sis h taught for 30 mins!! it went good i think! i wasnt as nervous as i thought id be which was good. i wasnt ganna pee my skirt or nothin lol. than we did trade offs with thomasville sisters! so i went up to georgia! it was fun! sis swanger (my sister) it was fun. we biked in a rainstorm got soakin wet. taught a lesson to the cutest family ever! the 3 girls were so dagum cute! one little girl was playin with my wet hair hahah oh my i just love them!! went to dinner at a members house and got the grandaughter who is less active and never listens to anything spiritual i guess hahaha but she did!! we're now friends :):) she gave me her fuzzy socks because i liked them so much hahahaha so sweet!!! i love her!! thomasville was way fun though!! So on wednesday we went to dinner at the livingstons and they are the funniest family ever! it was just sis livingston and her 2 kids. jj and isaiah! i got a video of isaiah winking his eyes. and jj tryin to. so funny! oh my it feels sooo good to laugh!

Thanksgiving was so much fun!! we ate at lori bergstroms! so much food! delicious! yummmmm.  me and sis h got to make sweet potato casserole super sugary and heavenly!!! hahaha it was just like home. lots of noise and screamin kids and food! it was definitely a good thanksgiving day! loved it!!  sis h is still sick so we went home and i read more of jesus the christ... dagum i dont even know what i did! i was doin things! im workin on diligence and obedience this transfer! how in the world can you do that when your stuck inside!!!!!!!!! grrrr its a lil bit frustrating lol. not bitter at all :)

than we did another trade off with tally 3 sisters! sis irons came here with me :) ok i just love sis irons. kk? seriously love her!! there are only a few sisters in the world i could see workin out together. 2 of them went home and sis irons is one of them! she is so sweet! i want to be a better person around her! it was awesome!

we visited a members home. Candace sirmans actually hahah her mom never opens the door for us so she txt us when she was home so she could let us in lol. we got in!!!! beautiful home!! and her mom, sis sirmans, was soooo nice!! i hadn't laughed that hard. and that real in a while!! me sis irons, candace and sis sirmans were havin a good time!! she fed us left over thanksgivin dinner :) they are the best family ever! i really love them!! candace has a really good heart! love her!! oh my i love them both!! it was just a super fun time.

than on saturday we did a family history booth!! we borrowed a table and some chairs from the church. squished them in the car! it fit!! hahaha and set it up outside the library! we split the day up with the our elders. so we got the morning shift! oh my it was so much fun! a member let us borrow their tablets so we could pull familysearch.org up on it. we had a lot of success!!! sis irons was so prepared for it!! but it was crazy cool because i could see who had the spirit of elijah and their ansestors pushing them over to us! it was really cool!! it is hard to explain but i could just see and feel who had it and who didnt! yes it had partly to do with who came up to us and who didnt but it was still awesome!!!

than we traded back. and we went over to the schaffners house to help them decorate for xmas! and dinner! it was so much fun!! i love christmas!! it is so takin on a different meanin this year!! its powerful!! woo!! and than we ate dinner with em! so good!! they invited us over for xmas morning! so were ganna go in our pjs and bring our presents and open em with them!! than eat breakfast with them! all in our pjs!! that means i cant wear my cute pig shorts :( too short!! hahaha im super excited!!!!

on sunday night the stake had a christmas concert and we all got to go and sing one song in it. like 50 missionaries were there!! we sang far far away on judeas plain! it was awesome!! i got a recording of it on my camera in my bag hahahah. so yall can hear it!! there were so many 1 ward members there! i nearly cried!! so much love in my body and i cant contain it!! i miss them. i miss them alot. but i love members here in 2 ward too! haha so much love!!!!

well that is pretty much it for this week! not much on gators. except we're tryin to find them!! i shouldnt be mean to myself because sis h has been sick and so we havent gotten out much! but still its so frustrating! and i want to be dilligent and use the Lords time wisely so i can be accountable!! but im comin up blank! blah! thats where im at today. some days its good and other days its not so good.

i have fallen in love with praying! i can be normal in my prayer and tell Heavenly Father everything!! HE IS REAL!! there are no coincidences! spell check please :)

Ok so i forgot to bring my planner again so thisll be interesting :)

sis H has been sick. all. week. long. booo! hahah oh well im doin lots of studin and cleanin maybe i blasted some of sis Hs cds and danced who knows! only me :) but ok this'll be off my memory so bear with me.

This week we did trade off with monticello sisters. me and sis Lloyd had fun! we went to this one LAs house. it was dark. like pitch black and it was foggy bad! haha their driveway was way up in the woods. seriously we were in a horror movie!! ahh! so we were jokin about it on the way up there how scary n such it was lol. now it was only like 7:00. we go up to the house. there aint no lights on but a little glow like theyre watchin a movie! so we knock. and we can see inside cuz they have windows on their door. and we see someone get up off the couch and go into  another room. my thought was How rude! we can see you person!! hahah so we stand there awkwardly for a few more seconds. than a face jams up against the window!! for like 2 seconds and disapears!!! WHAT?? i screamed alittle! HOLY FLIP! we were ganna die! no one answered the door so i started to write a note on a mormon.org card and sis lloyd goes to knock again and someone opens the door like 5 inches, just enough so his face fit out. and it was like young person! maybe 20s? we told him who we were and he said it wasnt a good time. so we asked when would be a good time to come back. he just slamed the door and left for a good solid minute! now i felt like time was going slow. my heart was beating fast because i just thought about dieing!!! he comes back sayin another day. he has a thick country southern boy accent. so we left. he slammed it closed again. we walk back to the car through the fog and blackness and laugh in the car!! sooooo dagum scary!! ahhhh!!!!

ok... so i may or may not have clogged our kitchen sink... i was cleanin the sink and next thing you know the other side fills up reall fast! crap! so i turn the disposal on and it comes up in both sinks even higher. so i ruined the sink... :P me and sis lloyd tried to fix it with the toilet plunger! it worked until we tested it out with the dishwasher. the dishwasher flooded.. so we left it. whatever! it was like that for 3 days! until the maintance guy came. i washed all the dishes in the shower. fun eh? than essic came to fix our sink and he told us after he fixed it that there was a candle in there!! ok now how does that happen? well one night sis milne was creative! i was gonna melt candle wax and put it into a santa thingy. but it mixed in with too much water so i dumped the water and wax into the sink. WHY?? idk. i didnt even think it would do nothin! the floor even flooded! hahah oh my so that was fun!!.

We had missionary leadership conference this week! so much fun! it is usually 1 day but this time is was 3. the first night we had a bbq, played some games than had a bonfire! super spiritual! like seriously it was incredible!! than day 2 we had 2 representatives from the missionary department come and they talked to us. and we were there for about 5 hours! super powerpact!! they spoke, sis smith and pres spoke and than the APs spoke! it was awweessooommmee!! seriously awesome! and they had really good food for lunch! gangus grill is delicious! mmm. than 2 days later we went to bonifay fl for part 3. and Elder Kopischka from the area 70 came and did a Q&A with us! and elder munns from one of the 70s came!! itwas Incredible!! oh my. we had 3 hours wiht him. he said that he didnt come with an agenda. so we asked him questions!! it was perfect! he is sooo adorable! love him!!!  so in the 3 days of meetings. i feel like i have a lot to do in a little amount of time! but it was just amazing! woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i took tons and tons of notes!! family history is explodin down here as well as church tours! we're ganna bring it!! my soul trembles because my body cant contain it! ahhhh!!!!!!!! hahahhaha

Bro Keith is doin good! we had a laurel go out with us to his lesson yesturday! he gave me a jacket because it was cold outside and i forgot mine :) but it was fun! courtney is awesome!!! bro keith is in ether right now.  he still wont come to church but he's gettin more and more! we're teachin too!!!

bro bell is the same. we need to spiritually kick him in the butt!! so we're workin on it! :)

Bianca is hiding from us. but we found her so we're ganna try to get back to teachin her again! her LA boyfriend stayed in the room for a lesson we had with his mom! ben is his name! he is absoluetly amazing!! we helped sis childers out with cleanin dolls she is donating. i never want to see a doll again!! old creepy dolls. we were livin a horror movie again!! hahahaha i love the members here!! i love my sisters here! i love being a missionary!!! im still tryin to do my best no matter what others do. it hard!! doubt your doubt before you doubt your faith! and be kind to yourself! we do much better than we think we are! so congrats on bein awesome! thanksgivin is this week woooooooooooo so stoked!!! we have a member feedin us and its ganna be a huge gatherin! so excited hahaha oh my life it good. its real good! Keep it real smalls! dont do drugs and also pray at least 2x a day!

This week has been so strange! on monday we went to empty nesters. its a group of basically old people who dont have kids in their "nest" anymore lol it was a thanksgiving dinner! yumm! we were the youngest people there woah!! HAHAHA IT WAS SUPER FUN THOUGH. oop caps on :) and i love hanging out with old people though. i dont know what it is about em that makes me feel like i can be myself more! haha anyway! we did trade offs with cairo sisters! sis wells came down here to tally. it was super fun! she is so cute! i feel like all my trade offs have ended with sisters in tears! except 2 ithink... idk i love my sisters! they are my sisters too!!! so much love!!! Quote of the day we knocked on this house and the guy opens the door startled looking. he looks around and than looks us up and down. sis Wells is sayin who we are n such. he simply says " you didnt light up into flames!! you alive from walkin up here!!! you feelin ok???" hahahahaha so funny we were like nope we feel fine :) but that was a great response.

Sis H was sick this week again so there was a bit of resting. thats ok though :) updates on gators

Bro. Kieth Highsmith!! We had a lesson with him  outside his apt as normal but this day was FREEZING!! it was soo cold! i pulled out a blanket for his lesson!! so da gum cold!! but we love him. so yall know. tallahassee gets CoLd!! like real cold!! its a wet cold though so when you get cold its like nothin gets ya warm. after his lesson it was time to plan. and sis H wasnt feelin good she took like a 45 min shower warmin herself up while i bundled up in socks a huddie and blankets! crazy!! than today it is super warm and cloudy! its still hurricane season so thats why there is crazy weather i think...  BUT! Bro Kieth has really bad anxiety and thats why he wont come to church. so saturday we gave him a church tour with bro goehrig (WML) and bro goehirg talked the whole time! it was aweosme! best tour ever! bro kieth said he was really impressed how the church utilizes its space, and that it was a beautiful church building! ive never heard a church of ours called beautiful! bro kieth has so much potential! when he gets baptized and recieves the priesthood. look out world!!! he'll convert everyone!!!!! hahaha

This week we got yelled at. me and sis wells actually. by a less active member who has hard core bitter feelings about the ward because of somethin todo with her son and his family? not sure she just got so mad at us!!! so mad! i felt it right away and tried to get us out of there but sis wells was gettin fired up. my thoughts were oh no... so i kept tryin to end the conversation and leave but sis Wells wasnt havin that. so i just about died inside!! when we left i was like you are a fire cracker!! hahaha lets not go back!!!. people if you have hard feelins for a ward or people. dont take it out on the missionaries! we got no idea and it aint our fault! so that was fun... ;/

Bianca. An active members less active sons girlfriend. does that make sense?? we had met with her 2x. she is solid holy flip! she is readin and prayin right now about it!! wowza!! hahaha she is the sweetest thing ever! i love her!!

Met a partmember family who was a referral. i love them and i want to live with them and be there best friends!! its not in our area though. dagum elders get on it!!!!!!!! my new word for life is Hoo-z floo-z hahah i love the schank family! the first time we met them it seemed like they didnt, but i think theyre startin to love us!! sis schank is amazing! love her! and her family!! LOVE THEM!!

so we have a couple new gators that set up apts for this week. but they bailed and werent there :( sad day! but we aint givin up on em!! bahahhahhaha. the schaffner family invited us over to help them decorate for xmas! wooohoooo! so excited for xmas! all the lights! we found xmas decorations in a closet in our apt so while sis h was sick i decorated :) FUN!!

church was amazing. all 11 missionaries sang infront of everyone during sacrament meeting. the armys of helaman. all i could hear was elder mcpherson haha i was standing next to him but still!! this week my epiphany (spellcheck) was that nomatter what the sitaution is. you can always blame others but what can you do to make the situation better?

So that is my motto for the time being.

Another day in the life

Hahahah if only yall could hear me say that! funny funny funny

we're emailing at a members house today because the dance studio we email at, the members are not goin in today :( so sis H is talkin to bro bell (distracting him) so i can email. i did it for her the first hour! hhahaha funnnn

So our gator named Virginia Bill is a part member she has had lessons also before, her husband lives far away and she is moving away on thanksgiving. time is crunching to get her baptized!! but she likes taking us out to eat. we dont complain. she loves us! but our WML told us to try to help her with praying. that was a struggle before. so we talked about prayer and how its important to pray. and to love it! than we asked her to pray. and SHE DID! in the restaurant! in front of tons of people!! so awesome! i felt like crying and jumping into her arms with joy!!! hahah so good!!

Mr. Kieth is now in helamen 13 as of last tuesday. he had read through all of alma in a week!! INCREDIBLE MAN!!!! he said in his prayer that he loves us and that we are his sisters!! and he said he Loves Us!! wooooohooo!! so good! we got into the car and said. Awe he loves us!!! we're his sisters!!!!!!!!!! he's ganna get baptized soon!! we're finding out what is keeping him from church. 

dinner at the millers house is always my favorite! they are the bestest example ever!! kind of makes me excited to have a family! which is weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but their kids are the cutest and we laugh so much!!!! oh my i love them!!!

We did trade offs with spanish sisters. i went to the spanish area again. and it was a full spanish day!! half of the lessons were in full spanish! no english so i sat there and smiled and tried to distract the kids that also spoke no english hahahha i know. No espaniol lo siento, el libre de mormon.... hahahhaa this one woman was going off on me in spanish. she was smilling and holding my hands hahah i think she was saying how i look like her grandpa?? Hermana richardson only told me part of what was said. so i look like a columbian womans grandpa... i pray thats a good thing hahaha it was also my hump day!! woooooooooooo! its weird that ive been out 9 months. time is going too fast!!! and it was a spanish day. hahahhahaha hola!!!!! i came home that night and there was chalk art saying happy hump day! nine months! sis h and hermana dawe opened the door with a brownie with 1/2 candles on it!! singing happy hump day!! it was so sweet!! there were signs and a card!!! seriously i teared up a wee bit. it was the sweetest thing ever!! its strange having people think about you. i like doing it for others. but others doing it to me?? i dont know how to repsond!! it was incredible! i felt loved here. there are moments in mission time where i see all the ones i love and the ones that love me. i feel like its a glimpse of the spirit world.... incredible!!!!!

Had lunch with Jenny reynolds from 1st ward!!! she works over here in 3rd ward. she was telling people that she loved me in church. she has gone to church 3x in a row!!! hahahah oh my just take a step back and think about all that is done and all that has hapened and you just get an overhwelming feeling of love and gratitude for Heavenly Father!!

SUNDAY!! SIS BILL CAME TO CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7 Weeks in the area and finally 1 gator came to church!! sooooo gooooood!!! After church we went to the methodist church again and helped make christmas boxes full of things for kids around the world. so sweet! it was really fun! people were coming up saying that they know the mormons. and so and so is a mormon hahah so good!!! One man wouldnt stop talking to us! he was ganna point out all the strays to us so we could get an easy picken hahaha we said sweet point us in the right direction!!! pastor ken loves us!! someone told us we were the life of the party! what? we just showed up! and also people were always like oooh we heard about you two!!! hahahah and it was a good thing! awesome! so awesome!! they love us! the old man said somthing that made me think though. they were telling us to come to church and we said we would if our church wasnt on at the same time. and the old man said your church is already saved you need to come here! hahahhaha so awesome! well thats all ive got for ya this week. tips to survive. Dont run up hill early in the chilly morning. dont eat sweets late at night. always say your prayers before bed.

Another transfer has ended

HEY!

is it weird that another transfer has ended already? whop no! ah! too fast! i wish i could slow time down! anyway so much has happened this week!! ahh! it was an awesome week! better than last weeks! so i have been tryin to figure out what i need to learn from sis h and tally 2 and bein an stl. because i feel like i aint gettin it! so ive been prayin and studin my scriptures tryin to figure it out. woah i dont know the answer yet but i feel like its gettin close! yay!!

So we did a bunch of service this week! so i got to wear my pants more than i have my whole mission! it was weird... we helped at a pumpkin patch at the united methodist church because we became friends with Pastor Ken. that was fun. alot of the volunteers from that church were makin faces for a bit until we forced them to like us :)  we touched some nasty pumpkins! BUT  we got to take 2 for free for helpin! yay! so at district meetin the next day we carved them! me and sis H tried to make a captain moroni... but we failed so we called it good hahhaha it was super fun! i cant use a knife with out stabbin someone ive learned... this might be an issue. my mission pres and his wifes new name is mom and dad :) they respond and they dont get mad! ... yet so its pretty fun :) it was also transfers! we baby sat one of the sisters were over as stls so it was fun. sis chambers is aflippen ray of sunshine!! RAY OF SUNSHINE! its awesome!! than we did service that night at the first catholic church with baptist members! a man who said he was a heathen invited us hahah he really isnt a heathen... he lied lol he said hed be mormon if the WoW didnt exist! me and sis H looked at each other and than at mr bruce and told him we could help him with it hahaha he laughed! he loves us! we know it! Than we went to a dinner for all the volunteers at the homeless shelter at the first baptist church!! awesome! the shelter has a band and so they were playin! so much fun! it was crazy that we knew a few of the band members! sis G and sis west were there too! me and sis G would have totally gone up and sang with em if we could.. and if they sang songs we knew. but it was super fun! so than one night! last monday actually and we became friends with a man named reverend Hall! he is supposed to call us so we can eat breakfast together! he was soo sweet! sweet old man buyin his fav ice cream at 8:00 pm! hahah so fun!

Mr Kieth is doin well! he is gettin closer to comin to church and he has prayed about baptism but doesnt feel he needs to be rebaptised! so we asked him to pray about what to do with the info he's gained. basically baptism again hahah WE love Kieth!! he told his sister that he is gettin converted to the mormon girls hahahha we're gettin him friends in the ward. but its always a risk. you never know what the member is ganna say durin the lesson! one lesson a while ago. a member brought up slavery... and we were talkin to a black lady... awkward. me and my comp sat there prayin in our heads for the member to stop! hhahah anyway!

i love the members here! on halloween i got sick :( so i was stuck inside. we watched videos all day haha. we dressed up that night and ate candy and watched the restoration movie with our voices lol than we just watched it and cried! it was horrible!!!! hahaha super fun day though. i hate bein sick!  so hallowween was fun! i was a scarf ninja and sis H was batman.. batwoman! i dont have my planner here today so i honestly dont know what we did this week haha oh sad! oh we were at dinner at the schaffners house and it was a girls night. so much fun! me and sis H were makin everyone laugh! so they signed up to feed us again.. we get fed the most! what is this! so grateful that members feed us though! i would starve and just eat candy.... hahahha ok well. my epiphany this week. oh also we taught relief society. it went really well!! but while i was preparin i realized the BoM and the bible are all about missionary experiences. all of it! has to do with sharin the gospel! bein a missionary! whaaattt!! so that was really cool! anyway! prayer and scriptures are ture! i cant spell still but im too shaky to try anymore! i love yall!!! stay safe and dont go crazy! happy halloween!/christmas!

What a flippin week!

What a flippen week!!

 

So much has happened! oh my goosh!! ok a few quotes from one of our gators! Its Mr. Kieth hahah we had a lesson with him and we asked him to grab his BoM. we cant go inside so we stand outside his apt. but anyway he goes inside and comes back outside with his glasses. and he seriously looks like santa clause! freakishly like santa, so we laughed for a minute and told him. then he went off for 20 mins on how santa is a thief and a liar! he stole xmas away from Jesus!! hahaha soo funny! so funny! so now we know to never mention santa and xmas with mr kieth lol! but he was sayin how when he prays he Expects God to move. that is deep man, deep! but then it made me think about what type of prayers am I sayin! so im tryin to pray and act like God has already done it and is gonna move. its pretty intense! that's for sure lol. than one of the ways he remembers some of the bible names are. Gods Electric Power Company... now if I can remember which book is for which word that would make it all the better! but I cant hahaha, and than mr kieth went off about his beard and how its not as long as it should be. and how at the start of 2014 he wants to cut it and get all clean shaven and than go to church but than he got thinkin that we (me and sis H) might not be there so he may have to come to church with the beard and all! we said awe please come with the beard! maybe even braided lol. he laughed but didn't come this week :P that's all good. he will come! no worries!! I seriously love him he is so funny! and we learn so much about the bible when we're with him! we're legitly thinkin about makin a bible study class with him teachin us!

A lot of the people/gators down here think that when we come over to teach its for bible study... ehh no its not . hahah!! but I love mr kieth and every time we go and have a lesson with him I see him in white, in a jumper and then a white shirt and tie! when that day happens im ganna flip into joyous squeals! yes joyous squeals!

We did service with elder harrer and elder lovell this week at a huge farm! 5 horses, 2 donkeys, 1 goat, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 30ish chickens, a million spiders and more cockroaches lol. and we were pullin weeds first. we got to use machettes!! yes I had a machete right there in my hard! and everytime sis H would swing it she would make swooshing noises and elder harrer started makin video game noises from like link and Zelda. "hu ah ga bu"! hahaha so funny! than we played fruit baseball with the machettees, grossness! the member had me and sis H clean out a feed barn thing. I was done. Cockroaches... BIG!!! I don't know how to say it! and giant spiders! ugh gross!! so this weekend was the harvest festival activity for the ward! so much fun! the missionaries were in charge of the wheel of heavenly fortune! I seriously think all of the kids in the ward LOVE us! hahhahah so much fun!! I learned how to rope a fake cow from sis H and president Burton. (stake pres) hahaha I def need some work! oh my it was sooo much fun! I love this ward! than I found my gma smartt here in florida! her name is joan cobb, a LA who will soon be active and she is freakishly like my gma smartt! I love her!!!! I just hugged her for an awkward amount of time lol. sis h was sick again. so more time to get creative!! hahah than one of the nights we ate dinner at the brewers house and they are sooo much fun! sis brewer rides a motorcycle to church! HAWT!! so much fun! I think I ate a raw hamburger haha they love em pink. so that was gross! hahah Heavenly Father kept the food down! that's for sure.

Last night we ate dinner at the Burtons. we had a rough weekend with a person and we needed it! we felt like we were at home!! it was so nice to feel loved and at home! the burtons daughter took pics of us and send them to our families! sis burton started to get emotional talking about her sons pics that get sent to her sometimes.. awe!

Last thing before I end. this week I had a moment like Nephi, and Abraham. We had a plan to do service . and we were about to leave and I just had the sickest, worst feelin in the world! and I didn't know how to say that I felt this way because where we were goin we had scheduled and than canceled and now rescheduled.. we were following the spirit! but I didn't know how to tell sis H that I think we need to call the people back and cancel again. I prayed in the bathroom asking what to do and God said in my head. "Do you fear man more than God"? ugh! I walked out of the bathroom and told sis H, we prayed again and read scriptures. the one that I opened to was that there was evil under the sun. we called the person and they got mad at us! we wrote him a note apologizing and explaining more cuz he didn't let us talk on the telephone  and at church we saw them and talked with him. he is still upset. doctrinal wise we are safe! than I thought about nephi and abramahm. they knew the commandment to not kill. if they didn't kill they would be blessed. but the Lord asked them to! and so they went and did as the Lord commanded! we told Bro Goehrig and Bro Lind. our WML and assistant WML and we got emotional and they comforted us with kind words. Me and sis H love this ward!! sooo much!!!!! Definetly ups and downs. but I fear God more than I do man! and that gives me comfort! people use your brains! don't be dumb! I love yall

Happy Pday

Hello!!

So this week was pretty good, ok definetly some ups and downs but its goin too fast to be real! seriously i feel like im in a movie and the movie is almost half over! no way! slow down lets start over again... ok maybe i dont want that yet. i like all the knowledge ive gained! i cant imagine myself without it! so this'll be interestin!! people are askin me and sis H how long we've been out and its strange to hear her say 10 months and im almost 9.... ahh! we're oldies! oldies! hahah but i love this!!! florida is kinda scary we've decided lol lots of trees. pitch black at night, spanish moss everywhere! its a horror movie just waitin to happen. so me and sis h have decided to come back next halloween to be scared and then go back home lol. too much fun!! also!! if we're stuck inside early halloween night we've decided that were gonna dress up and make a fort and watch the restoration movie lol dress up with things we find around the house, make a fort with a couch, 2 beds a million sheets and 4 chairs lol. and the restoration movie because its not scary at all but when you look at us after we cry our eyeballs out it will be scary hahahha so its a plan! woo!

 so we have found some of the most amazing members in the entire world! we went to dinner at the millers house this week and they have the cutest kids in the world! the smallest girl was like missionaries!! all night long and then she'd point at us and make a sly grin hahaha so cute! but the bestest part is that they understand missionary work! so good!! and then they gave us 7 grocery bags full of food to take home! 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i nearly cried!! seriously cried!!! i hugged sis miller and didnt want to let her go! so nice! talk about christlike people! i love them!

 if i think about all the people i fall in love with out here. its ridiculous! its absolutely crazy! my heart beats faster and hotter when i feel that special christlike love! is that normal? haha

 so we did 2 trade offs this week. its really fun to do these! it makes me appreciate sis h more and more. also i love bein a stl! LOVE IT!!!! i also love bein a missionary hahha anywho this friday melyssa murphey was baptized! she got baptized in miami but is gonna be in 1 ward! we watched the baptism over face time :):) i cried! she is so incredible! her whole family was there to watch! and her dad said the closing prayer! he isnt a member!!!! bro bell baptized her! so cute! oh my and then after she bore her testimony and said that she knows the church is true. ooo it gives me  goosebumps just thinkin about it! she is a solid fiery member! i love her sooo much!! no matter what people say. she was definitely me and sis Gs baptism. i love her. melyssa is special. she will always be in my heart :) <3<3

 so durin ward correlation bro gerohig. i cant spell our ward mission leaders name... thats awkward lol but he told me and sis H that we have all the tough gators! all the part members who are hard headed and smartly sly. me and sis h looked at each other with a smile and said what! hahaha is it because we dont give up and follow the spirit? hahahaha

OH!! i didnt tell yall about the lesson! so Bro. Bell the most stubborn man alive! we took him and his wife who is a queen and a member to pres and sis smiths home for a lesson. we needed help with him. so we go there. its goes good. then pres starts talkin. holy macrol power pact! he showed and taught bro bell about how the priesthood was lost and needed to be restored. i cant even write the things in which he said because i can find no words for them!!! it was powerful! so powerful! (definetly a call to repentance for me, to not give up on the bible) and so we invited bro bell to be baptized again. and he said that when he knows its true he will. he is still stubborn!! it was a super soft commitment. he wouldnt say yes though!! ahhahaha he is definitely a hard cookie that is crackin slowly. afterwards pres and sis smith said that we're on the right track and that the right set of missionaries are here. that made us feel good!

Heavenly father knows how to help boost us up!! It just shows who is in charge lol. hmmm what else.

OH awkward moment ever! bro carlton. (a homeless shelter person) gave me this hug! ahh no! it came out of no where! and he turned to give sis G one but she wasnt have any of it! he forgot we told him no hugs lol oh no! so that was no good.... hahhahaha i love this! it is definetly a tough area. and we're workin on! Thank you for everything! I LOVE YOU!

35th Letter

Hey

Ok so today was so needed! earlier i really didnt want to do anything. like i wanted to come email. i just didnt know what to say! so sad! but then reading the emails i got. seriously. Heavenly Father knows what we need to hear. So thank you. thanks yall for everythin! this past week has been up and down!  me and sis H are doin good. the work is so da gum slow! but its here and its moving... being a missionary is tough and it takes so much out of you. but the feelin i get when i can feel and see the love of Christ. it pushes me up!! ok so this week. i did trade offs with spanish sisters!! yes i was a hermana for 24 hrs! so hard! i definetly know why im an english missionary. lol i did say our purpose in spanish... ok i just mimicked hermana dawes sounds. because i dont know what she was saying or reading... hahahhaha so much fun! we did service at this car museum. seriously have the nicest cars ever! they even have the batmobile! lots of cars holy flip its so insanly awesome!!! and the guy that keeps them clean and stuff fell in love with me and hermana Dawe! haha he told us that he keeps all the cars runnin! so all them cars can be driven! so awesome! he said next time we come we can clean the cars. and that is HUGE! they say nobody touches the cars but him! and the elders have been goin there for a while now... so thats awkward... hhahha oh well! we cleaned like 1000000 windows!! on the building etc. so many windows! but Mr. Dickey loves us now :) he said that we worked harder than the boys do! hahahahaha we didnt tell the elders that!! hahaha also i havent ridden a bike in a few weeks and it definitely showed! my whole body is still recovering from it! oh btw im sparatically (spell check) runnin every other day. its ridiculous! sis H just walks and i run back and forth. than i have to run past a million elders because in the complex i live in there are 20 flippen missionaries!!! cra cra. So this past week was good. First of all

THE TIRA BACON. my bad. Sister Bacon has been called to serve in Lisbon Portugal!! she leaves march 7? i think...! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I am so happy!! seriously!!! i can remember me and sis G. prophesying her future and we knew she was gonna serve the Lord and she would laugh and say she wasnt! da da da!!! she used to say that she didnt want to go to church. but she did! oh my goodness! sooooo da gum happy!! i love the sister bacon!!!!!!!!!!

i got permission to go watch her open her call!!! i love being a missionary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also this familly the Dransfields. they fed us and told us that we could skype our family on xmas there. and bro dransfeild took us into their living room and had this projector and so when xmas time comes around we can skype and see a giant version of them!!!!!! so dagum cool! so we hope we're stayin here! so much to do!

Sis H has been sayin a lot lately that this has been her fastest transfer ever! i know its cuz im awesome... :)

Then last night we had dinner at a part members house. the Huckabas! and sis Huckaba is incredible! she was gonna be in the CIA and she knows russian, and french and a lil bit of japanesse! she has traveled everywhere! seriously! she is legit! and then she came back to the USA and married a math professsor... boring... hahhaha ok jk no its not. when she was talkin i felt like i was listenin to a real life movie!!!  and their son is 13 and is trainin for the olympics! he is a gymnist and a balerina dancer! balerino. thats what he said boys were called... not sure if its real or not lol. he is very energetic! that is for sure. but sis H has been sick this past week and so we havent gotten much teachin in etc, so at dinner we taught out of 1 nephi 11:17 with God is our loving Heavenly Father. Holy powerpacked! it was intense. the spirit was thick there. he is a quiet man but he was nice and answered questions. i couldnt tell if he was cryin or just sweatin... but it was such a fun dinner! sis Huckaba called us a few hours ago thankin us for comin over! and how powerful and perfect our message was. and how she cant wait for us to come follow up on the commitement we left with them :) she is absolutely the coolest person ever! i love her!!!

So the other day. we had planned our day and had a bunch of people we were ganna go see. no one was home. seriously not one person. and we had no idea what to do. if sis H hadnt been sick i would have cried hahaha but really. our area has nobody walkin around anywhyere. the neighborhoods were empty. we dont tract because that is a sis milne rule. and so i called our ward mission leader and asked for help. the next day we were off. we had our WML giving us ideas and today literally right before i came to email. a woman in the ward had jsut gotten the calling of getting the missionaries meals. and she was talkin to us and said she was gonna get us meals as well as apts with Less active and part member families! HOLY FLIP!! we told her about one woman who we had to cancel on her today and she asked if we wanted her to reschedule for us! i had a few seconds where i felt like we had a secretary!!! SO LEGET!!!!! We have a better drive!!!! Things will get easier when we have people to teach and me and sis H are on the same page. but our Father in Heaven is definetly watchin out for us! hahah

Sis Huckaba likes to give us little messages. like what we do at dinners lol so cute!!! overall. pretty good week! this week we're doin 2 trade offs! wooo! thatll be good :) ill keep ya posted on major events etc. haha

I LOVE BEIN A MISSIONARY!!! i noticed how much longer i have. time needs to slow down but stay this fun!

34th Letter

Can i just say that conference was amazing!! woop woop!

 

So this past week has been insanely strange. like not in events or nothin but in... the spirit? just so w'ere all clear, i cant remember much of anything without lookin back in my planner... hahaha oh dear. there was this one woman who told me how age messes with peoples brain. then i thought, if it is already messed up like hers... what will mine be like when Im her age?!?! nope not gonna say it! except that I'm not gonna get old :) hurray!! hahaha So the weather is purdy nice down here! its coolin off a wee bit so its not a huge wave of nasty sauna heat lol, its a cool warm sauna heat so its much better then earlier in the year! woop woop!

So i have a funny story. for some reason this transfer has been slow. slow getting the work moving but we are moving forward! so at district meeting, we were talking about missionaries in BoM and their attributes. Ammon and Amulek, Alma, Moroni, etc. and then some of the attributes were kindness, dilligence, humility, faith etc then one that came up was happiness! in pres email last week it was about smiling and how people want to be more like others who smile and are happy! then one set of elders in the ward im in (cuz there are 10 missionaries in the ward :/)  and they said that the greatest example today of happiness was me and sis H... what?? haha they were like "we were at a members house and they just talked about you too! and how happy and fun you both were! hahaha then a different set of elders said, hey that happened to us too at a dinner apt!! WHAA? People are talking about us!! it made me feel a bit better, people really do notice us. and people are watching, if we're not happy with where we are, with what we're doing, with why we're doing it. why would anybody else want to be a part of the work we're doing?? my point made :) it was definitely a highlight of the century!! Then on another day we were walking to go buy a new map for our area and we saw our friend Glen! we referred him to 4th ward elders. but we see him sometimes! he is an older black man with one leg in a motorized wheelchair. and the way we started to talk to him was because of his hat. it said God is Good. i love Jesus!! (so many Jesus things down here! its awesome) but he is so awesome!!! he is the sweetest man alive! he saw us and he was like! oh please just kidnap me and marry me!! hahaha he is just the sweetest, funniest guy! hahahaha we said we would if we could because that would be a funny time, kidnaping him...? but he is so funny! one of the other things he said was about how he just wants to get married. and then he said "excuse my language, (me and sis H were like oh no) I just wanna help make a baby!!" hahahaha he wants to leave some part of him in the world. so cute huh!!! glen is our friend :)

SO now lets talk about conference. In the relief society confrence 2 weeks ago. that was so awesome!!!! i love all the stories i took so many notes! then this general conference. when the prophet said he was ganna write that it was the most spiritual conference he had ever been to in his journal. i second that notion! i loved conference! the power was immense! and it was felt all over!! holy cow!! i love jeffrey R Hollands talk on saturday. and i loved all of them! i just loved them all!! conference makes me so happy! i just had been thinking about how much i want to be a missionary. i hit my 8 month mark yesterday :/ strange... how much do i lean on the Lord? How much is this gospel in my life? will it continue when i become a part of it again? blah!!! so many spiritual emotions running through me! lol so much! but i am learning more and more about how much this gospel is true. especially down here in the south. so many churches and people are saying they're the true church, that they know the way to heaven. a lot of bible bashers. so what makes us different? why are we any different when we're saying the same thing? well because Jesus Christ Himself is at the head of the church. not a man who wants to be close to Jesus. Christ himself who died for us! Christ who loves each of us more then we will ever know. Christ who weeps with us and laughs with us. never has he left his sheep alone! my spirit is still growing. and its definitely being pushed harder now. satan is so real ya'll. so real its freaky. good thing we're on the Right Side!! haha Never give up. Look ahead Look up! haha conference was incredible! this gospel seriously is true. truer than toast ma friends. truer than toast. look at the bigger pic! it will blow you mind! God is real!! I love yall!

33rd letter

hahaha! ok so much fun!

first off. we dont have a car. so we're on our valiant steeds (bikes) and sis hamilton is the funniest person alive!! so much has happened this week. it seriously seems like a blur... im a little distrubed that i have a hard time remembering what happened this morning and i have to really go back in my head to remember lol oh well what ever! so this week so much has happened! we had the 1/2 mission conference and elder and sister pino from the 70 came and spoke!! soooo powerful! me and sis H were exhausted afterwards. when the spirit hits us that hard we lost all our energy! we saw so many missionaries that i thought id never see again... dont worry i made it a good experiance! but holy crap we have a lot to do! so much to do and so little time. that is what it feels like inside my chest! but im super pumped and excited for it!!! so to go to that conference it was a 2 hr drive. then the next day we, me and sis H, got to go to Missionary Leadership Conference! only for zl and st! ahhh! and that was a 3 1/2 hr drive! so that was fun! we got to know the elders and sisters in the van really well! haha one elder has a shoe size of 11 1/2 if you want to know lol anywho it was powerful! elder pino and pres smith spoke! i had gone in with a question. What am i suppost to do here? why am i a leader! what the flip is supposed to happen! so that was my question going in. and one scripture D&C 15&16. vrs 6 in both sections. i am here to declare repentance and bring souls into Gods fold. when elder pino read that i just about started crying! never has that happened to me. it was def a moment of truth. Heavenly Father. OUR Father! does listen to our prayers. he really does hear them! no matter how you say it. he hears them. he had heard me cry late into the night before, lost and confused. and that scripture has given me the direction he needs me to go. so i have started calling all the sisters w'ere over to repentance and calling all those we meet unto repentance! if you aint repenting than you are not doin it right. we all need to repent and get better. lets be honest. we all need this! so that was my big spiritual epiphany. He really listens. he cares. and He never leaves. to awesome to be real!!! hmm

so i had my first trade off this week!! woo! that was fun! omg i have to tell yall this! so there is a part member family in the ward. sis bell is active and the RS pres. and bro bell is a non member. we had our lesson with them this week. he is very good at dodgin the q and steering the conversation into something else. but we asked him to be baptized 3x! 3X! 3 FLIPPEN TIMES!! hahahah in the end he said if he found the BoM to be true he would be baptized. score. he has just recieved us and is now dead.  hahah it was an interesting lesson thats for sure!! but it was so powerful! we didn't give up. we were soo dang bold other missionaries would have peed their pants! haha he tried not answering this one question and sis H. was like WAIT No, what about YOU! no not your wife YOU! hahah 3x she had to stop him and reask the question. i feel like im seeing a 3 pattern... ill remember that.

Relief society broadcast was amazing! i saw a lot of 1st ward members. so great! i love them all!! ahh! but its good to be where im at. and conference was amazing!! loved loved loovveeddd it!!!!!!!!

funny saying.

1st councelor to the stake pres. but i cant remember his name. i asked him how he was doing and he said. "im fat and sassy!" hahahhaha so funny! also everyone in the stake know about me and issac woods relationship. (his dad taught and baptized my dad's family in Scotland, and we found out just last week!). hahaha funny funny!! but over here in 3 and 2 ward are like the higher class people. its got alot of everything but there is higher class people. for sure. so its a bit different! i miss the ghetto! haha but im glad im here. so happy!!!!!! 

My whole speal for this past week. is. to repent and come unto Christ. yep. that about sums it up! if your doin somethin you aint suppost to. fix it. NOW. talk to someone, bishop, friend, family. Fix it. now is not the time to be carrying around burdens when you need to be the strongest you can be! I love yall! your amazing and doin a  flippen amazin job! also go invite a friend over for dinner and then invite the missionaries over too. if you do it, then membesr in this ward im serving in will do it! you got this!

Hey y'all!

Ok i know we've been a wee bit anxious because ive been transfered and im a sister training leader in the zone. BUT!! my companion is sister Hamilton and she is wonderful!!! she is so much dang fun! i haven't felt this good or had this much fun in a LONG time! i love laughing with her! she has been out a transfer before me. she was sister rappleyes companion in the mtc! she is from herriman ut and is 27! youngest of 4, has a degree in english. she is sooo funny! we have a blast! she told me last night that she hasn't had a companion that she hasn't trained since her first tranfer! so it is a relief and a lot funner not training. dont get me wrong. i love training. and i know ill do it again but there is something different about being with a missionary who has been trained! its great!! we seriouisly have so much fun! she is my friend! its awesome! so im in tally 2 ward! so i go to a different church building than my last area.  there are 10 missionaries total in the ward... 10... the bishop is the mission doctor! hahaha i saw him and i said out loud. wait! Your the Doctor!! haha it was in PEC and everyone laughed. oops! there goes the spirit! hahahah so me and sis H are over 5 sets of missionaries. and we are like the example and their leader!! eek! me and sis H are like.... God has a real funny sense of humor. so funny! oh my. but im soooooo happy and grateful for the chance to be a STL!! It was sad leaving my area and i miss so many people! :( but ill never forget them and all the people that have helped me! awesome!! The Tira bacon has finished her mission papers. 5 days. she got them all done in 5 day! thats crazy!!! she is gonna be an incredible missionary!!! denis is doing good. he emailed me saying he has a job now and loves singles ward! no crying babies haha come on people who doesn't love crying babies! lets be real now! so me and sis h dont have a car... our area is huge and we dont have a car.. they say were getting one soon. we saw 4 brand new cars in the church parking lot and so we're just waitng for them to call us and tell us which one is ours! we already know which one we want hahhaha. were waiting though! so much has happened this week! blaah! haha so our apt was... a dump. the missionaries before us didn't clean it. bless their hearts. because as ya'll know me and sis h are white washing kind of. the sisters before us are super sweet and us as stl's are over them. but the apt had/has so much stuff in it, we couldn't function properly!! we spent 2 days cleaning it total!! we couldnt work without being organized! we couldnt do it!!  we're almost there. this morning sis h bleached the bathroom. it was disgusting! so now my nose is smelling everything!! the wood smells funny in this room im emailing in. but anywoo! our apt is now semi decent haha we love it though! 1 bed 1 bath! sharing is caring!! hahaha i love it! sis h loves it too, she just expresses it differently hahahah we've biked and met members, we're working on seeing all the members! haha us and the other set of sisters in the ward have split up the ward so we dont work with and go to the same people! ok so story time. we ate dinner at the relief society presidents house. she is ammaazziinngggg (sang this word!) her husband isnt a member but the rest of her family is! i bluntly and boldly asked bro bell why he wasnt a mormon. hahah i was like " what??? your not a mormon?!?! WHY not??" hahah he is incredible at family history! his family tree has over 34,000 names! we believe him. then at dinner, their 26 yr old son was there. he is a welder and sis bell was so proud of his work! she brought out this Giant million pound hammer!! and then she brought out a mase! not sure exactly how to spell it. but a baseball bat with spikes on it. so i brushed my hair with it hahahahha such a fun dinner!! hahahaha so next time we see the bell family we have a plan to invite bro bell to be baptized! afterwards. sis h said she had a very strong prompting from the spirit that we will have to be bold with him!! and then right after that i had asked him why he wasnt a mormon! haha comp unity!! church was good. seriously this ward is missionary gungho! can we have this everywhere? Its incredible!! i love it!

There is a cat that comes up to our porch all the time! go away cat!!!!!i ball like a baby everytime i watch a spiritual movie... dumb tears! haha president told me, he came up to me on transfer day and and told me how much he looks forward to reading my emails that i send to him, it makes him laugh and cry! i try to be spiritual in the letters yall. im not bein good at being spiritual hahaha sis h is like a power pact sister!!! SO FUN!!

Tally 1 and 2 zones did a coastal clean up in wakulla this last saturday it was sooo fun! we cleaned up trash on the side of the road and such. Im grateful for sis h. looking at all the other sisters i dont know what id being doing if i was with them

31st Letter & New Pictures

Hey yall!

Yall get my email early today!!! campus missionaries are starting to have pdays on mondays too so we're emailin real early today! cra cra!! wooo ok so this week has been amazing!! oh and today we find out about transfers! it hasnt come yet other wise i'd be tellin yall. so careful if you send me mail to my apt address. might want to send it to the mission office until we know otherwise :) anywho! what a week! so me and sis K got interviewed. like on a camera and everything. pres wants to make a video of missionaries and so we got interviewed. they asked us a bunch of Qs and stuff. i feel real dumb now though because im not sure what i was saying. they asked me to explain what eternal life meant. and i answered using an analagy with a flower...? how does it relate? good question, i dont know. so at the end of what i was saying i sat there and laughed. i said, that didn't make much sense can i skip the question? haha my whole interview the 2 elders and sis krebs were laughing... i was bein real serious. so i hope that it wasn't a bad thing... hmmm hahah oh well what ever!!

mamma lopez never forgets when missionaries come over. if we're late. we're dead. if we forget. we're worse then dead. but mamma lopez forgot We were coming over!! so we tried to read her the riot act. "are you out of your mind!!" hahaha but i couldnt do it with out laughing. This week has been great! awful hugging week though. people are just wanting hugs!! at the homeless shelter there is a guy that works there his name is Carlton so sweet! he protects us if the homeless people get angry at us. usually its when they're drunk. but he gave us a hug and we took a pic with him. we tried to shake his hand!!!! so sweet of him but soo nono haha oh gosh!

The Tira Bacon has started her mission papers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes everyone please freak out!!! she called us this week wanted to talk about how we knew we were supposed to serve. and we told her and then she called the bishop saying she wants to serve the Lord! and she has officially started her papers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SISTER BACON!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Please come to the FTM!! be my companion!!!!!! hahahhaha its incredible!! absolutely incredible! she is so amazing and she has come so far! she also has a lot to do in life! her dads side of the family aint happy at all. they were sayin not so nice things about it... :( so thats not cool but she said she knows what she believes and she cant deny it. she is just so amazing and so strong!! gaaaash! i love her sooooooo much! so much its unreal! i cannot control my actions sometimes. i just get too excited hahaha SHES GOING ON A MISSION!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Ok now onto Dennis. Well he was baptised this week!!!!! OMG! he passed his interview! phew hahaha he is trying to convince me to not go awall when my mission is over hahahahah so funny. so funny. i love him!! then on the baptism day! he wasnt feeling too good this week :( so thats not good. haha not good at all! but so we were told that the hot water is broken for the font right? wrong it works. ha! it works real well! The baptism service went sooo well! oh my it was so good!!!! he looked so happy!! when the accordion door opened for the font everything was foggy! the water was boiling hot!! and bro davis forgot to turn it off so it was super high haha when dennis walked into it he was like Woah! so hot!! hahahaha. then they came out and we finished the service. people congrats him. then he went and helped with parking. there was a FSU home game and the church sells parking spaces. so dennis helped with that! so crazy!! he is so on fire!! then on sunday. (yesterday) he got confirmed :) he was not feelin good at all. but he came!! and his blessing was so special! it was hard to hear it but there was a lot of promised blessings! he looked so good! like a ball of sunshine. a sick sunshine haha. He was still glowing when he was sick. he is goin to go to the singles ward in a  couple weeks. :( sad day but itll be good for him! as long as he goes to church! thats all that matters :) We wrote our testimonies in a triple. and gave it to him as a present :) sis g had given him pictures of us 3 and he put them in there :) so precious!! yes precious! oh my i just love him! sooo much!! i felt so bad during gospel principals, he was not feelin good! but he was trying his best to be normal! its so sweet!! he is a really good member!!!! so good! ahhh!! Dennis Eugene Peter! he is our little modern day alma and flin rider ;) so awesome!! <3<3

Melyssa is doing awesome!! we all fasted together for october 26 as her bcd! so this is going to be really good!! and she watched the hour long restoration! they cried :) we had to leave halfway through :( but the bells said it went really well :) oh my so oct 26 is the day shell get baptized! she wants it now though. she wants it so bad! the only thing holdin her back is her family not bein able to be there!!! but ahhhh i love her soo much! she is so cute!!!!!!!!!

so yall remember that one night when our neighbors came to our door late in the night and was pounding and stuff. well we taught him a lesson and he has committed to a bcd! oct 26 also! hahahah so funny. we're going to teach him again tonight lol but his name is Josh he is 18 and is getting his GED. but he is a sweet kid. has a good heart! anywho thats it for them!!!

funny story time. so a new sister moved into the ward. Angie Smith! single 34. and we went over to help her clean. so we hung up her clothes and helped build a dresser and stuff. super fun! she has such cute clothes and shoes!!!! im ready to move in with her and borrow all her clothes!!! hahaha but we are so alike in a lot of ways its crazy! anywho! so when we left we took her trash out. oh and we had changed there so i put my service clothes in a grocery bag. i had my shorts, shoes, shirt, socks. now when we threw her trash away. i threw my service clothes away too. i didnt realize this untill we got home. My thought was. CRAP! I just threw away my shoes that my mom bought me!!!!!!!!! OMG!! imma die!! so i freaked out a bit.laughed at it. haha crap... so the next day. we went dumpster diving. it was sunday so i knew that the garbage people wouldnt come. so gross though! needless to say i got my clothes and my shoes back! :) but things were moving in the dumpster! MOVING!!! EWW! so gross!!! (chills just came over me) gross. need i say more??

So many laughs though! this week has been so much fun! super packed. like a power packed week! lots of service, running around just trying to be where the Lord wants us to be!! Met some really funny people who have been prepared! we're trying to get members to let us do service for them! blah! nobody needs anything hahaha but this week has been amazing!!! best week ever!!! Seriously! with Dennis being baptized. i can remember when he told us he didnt want to be baptized. he also didnt want to pray out loud. or do much! but look at  him now! OOO!!!!! LOVE HIM!!!!!!!

Well thats all ive got for now! this week is ganna be interesting! if only i knew if i was being transfered or not!!!!!!!!!! hahah hurry up elders! put it on there! also i love missionaries! and i love being a missionary even more!! so. much. fun. best things in life ever!!!! wooooo!!! the south is about to explode! its insane! i love it though! haha party hard yall but pray harder!! ;) Thank you for everything that youve done for me. seriously people. i miss your face but i wouldnt want to be anywhere else then right here!!! 30th Letter

Heyo!

So i dont know what to say in this letter.... so much has happened! here are some random fun facts I've noticed!!

-there is a member in the ward who sleeps in relief society every sunday! and she snores, ahah but the best part is that she sounds like a zombie off of walking dead! not even playin! so cool!

-tattoos last forever!

-Dont be friends with bad people. especially bad people with guns

-always get a round trip ticket

-I hugged the following! and yes, be amazed! The General Relief Society President and the General Primary President!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT?

We had a relief society fireside this weekend and sister Burton came and spoke! then we got to talk to her and take a pic with her! AWESOME!  and the primay president just saw missionaries, ran up to us and gave us a hug saying she loved us! i didnt know who she was until sis krebs was like. Do you know who that is?!?!?! haha so Yall might be meetin wordly celebrities but i met spiritual celebrities! haha jk but this week has been insane!! Denis is still planning on getting baptized! this saturday at 10am! woo! so nervous and excited! ooh we love denis!!! brother peters! so awesome!! wooooooooo he is doing really awesome though! he's nearly halfway through mosiah and he is really excited for saturday! we love him soo much!! he loves us too he just doesnt say it hahah thats ok we wil not force him!! he is going to go back to school, also.. he is moving to ut... CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA!! hahahah oh my soo crazy!!!!! but itll be awesome! so awesome! we have little predictions about him in like 5 years hahah its really fun! he is such a good guy! like he has changed soo much! and he is trusting us! so good! oh my, LOVE HIM!! we had dinner with him at a members house. The Nelms. it was incredible! i love the Nelms! SO MUCH SPIRIT!! we talked about personal revelation and how it is personal and important!! he is amazing. simply amazing! he really wants to go on a mission! Elder Peters... hmm its got a nice ring to it! but he is just so adorable! did i say that we love him? hmm

WOOO! so her family is super anti right? well we got to go eat dinner over there and meet her whole flippen family!!! her bro conner is my age has long red hair down to his butt! and her dad was really nice! we had breakfast for dinner and taught a lesson to hannah and tira after! but HOLY FLIP! we got to go inside her house!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is a dream right there! a dream!!!!!!!! her dad said we're welcome back anytime! score! a door is open!

Kim and Brandon are doing well. they moved this past week into a better apartment and they are doing really really good! brandon has been prayin alot :) hurray!!! but there is not much to report on them. idk what else to say! my brain is a little out of it.

so we were at these new gators house right and we were just doin htbt and mr clinton started talkin and talkin. we could not get a word in! so now i know how to get drugs in NY and NJ and dont give your name out to anyone because theyll find you and kill you. communication is the key to everything.. what else did he say... soooo much! he was tellin us crazy stories!! basically this guy is lucky to be alive! dont do drugs everyone. dont do them!

mamma lopez found a baby kitten and she is so funny with him! my fav line she has said and i wish you could hear how she said it but "look at him grow!..my child..." hahahahhahah

We were driving right and there was this guy on the side walk who just pulled down his pants and was bending over! WHAT??? hahaha NEVER did i EVER want to see THAT!!!! ahh! scarred for life! scarred for life! hahaha but what the flip was he doin on the side of the road?!?!?!

then we saw this guy with his pants hanging low and he had to hold them up right. and sis krebs asked why do they do that? who likes that! i said lol some girls out there think they are 'thugly' hahaha get it! awesome!

Sis Krebs got sick. so we had a few slow days :P

OH! MELYSSA SET A BCD! December 14! but we're gonna fast together so that her parents can come up sooner and she can have a baptism sooner!! woohooooo!! she has been telling people she is a mormon hahahha awesome!

so skirts are dangerous! at the Nelms house. we walk in right and Adaline she is 2 she runs up to sis Krebs throws up her skirt and runs under it hahahahahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahahhahah so awkward!! hahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahah then later that night adaline threw a shoe and it hit sis krebs in the face! hahaha i lost it! i busted up laughing!!!! oh my soo funny! bro nelms was like you companion gets hit in the face and you laugh! hahahahahahahhahahhahahahah I laughed soo hard!!!! oh my but there has for sure been lots of ups and downs this week! The fireside was amazing!!!! so amazing!!!!! missionary work is hastening! hop on this train yall its movin fast! but thats all for now folks!

Is there such things as tree doctors?

Hey y'all!

So much has happened! oh my oh my! its flippen crazy! ok so on tuesday Denis basically put us on the back burner. he said he was super overwhelmed with stuff and so he will txt us when he is ready. :P blaah!! no!! haha so that was a great day!,.. nope i lied. so yall my letter aint gonna be real long. today too many missionaries and a lot of broken computers :( so anyway!! on wednesday we walked 5 miles to contact a referral. not one soul was walking!! none, but 2 people! soo hot! hahah it was like. whose idea was this?? yes it was mine, sis milnes great idea lol now i got a real good sunburn... awkward!!! Melyssa is doin so amazing!! she got a blessin this week and we're fixen to set a bcd! were praying for her!! Then on thursday we had dinner at the russell family, and tira and her sis hannah came! sooo much fun! they are the funniest funnest people ever!!!!!! ahhh!!! ok so sis russell told of a way she explained Christ's grace to her friend that asked her.

 

So your on an island and God is 10 miles away on land. and you have to swim there!

now that is simply impossible! and its really hard. so you jump into the water and start

swimming, you swim as hard and as long as you can towards the land where God is

and when you can't do any more, Jesus comes in on his Speed boat and picks you up!

Christ will take you the rest of the way! but He can't come onto your island and pick you

up! you have to go out and start swimming!

 

Can we say brilliant?? Christ is on his speed boat hahaha oh my too awesome! alrighty now on friday we had zone conference :) sweetness!! everything is changing! ahhhh!! not even playin!! we're shiftin gears towards family history and service more. and me and sis krebs are gonna try to see how long we can go with out tracting! so crazy cool! not gonna lie, i aint missin tractin ;) and then we're using this prayer technique to get people to pray! its really cool, a little awkward. we basically get them to say a prayer out loud and then invite them to pray and kneel and close our eyes lol and then wait! it works though! its really cool haha most of the times that we're planning on doing it they just agree to pray and we dont get the chance to do the prayer technique. lol  but our mission is switchin its focus! and its real exciting!! ahh! we're gettin more techy!! so when missionaries are leaving they get to bear their testimony at their last zone conference and so many elders are leaving! all the really good ones!!!! its really sad :( elder norton said that he would give anything! absolutely anything to be a greenie. he would give anything! and that made me think about where i am in my mission. flip time goes by way fast! its insane and so im cherishing moments even more so! ahh!!!!! hhaha

So we ate dinner on saturday at a members house. sis whisnant! she reminds me a lot of my gma c! hahaha just a southern version... weird! but she is just really funny hahhaha she got us scuppinangs. we have not a clue how to spell them. but it is a HUGE grape! and you bite it and suck the juice out and spit the rest out! its soo weird! hahah but they're real good. scuppinams? scupinongs? idk hahah giant grapes! yummm! oh also so the other ward had a baptism and denis came to it!! um sweetness right????

This sunday was fast sunday as yall should know ;) and so it was really needed!! and the Tira looked amazing at church can i just say!! oh my what was even cooler was that the night before she had called us saying she was ganna rip her nose ring out!! and then in church she told us about it! You cant even see the hole!! it hurt aparently haha but its gone!!!! we didnt even tell her to do it!! she is changing with the spirit! wooooooooo! every one calm down calm down. Denis came to church also!! in his white shirt :) haha makes us smile to see him wearin it!!

We're fixen to get real good at gettin the ward involved with us! slowly but surely! also my letter may be longer. the computers started workin again :) HURRAY! hahhaha but so we went over to Kim and Brandons house and we made shepards pie! oh my so amazing! did yall know i didnt know how to make that? actually i didnt even think about it! but it was aammaazzziiinnnngg! 3 plate fulls! i was hungry!!! we had a member come over for when we taught brandon the pos. he isnt ready to set a bcd yet but he still has a goal to be baptized and sealed to her! <3 so cute!! haha they have the same hair did i tell ya? also im gettin an accent! halla! hahaha but brandon will get baptized. im not worried. the ward is involved in their lives too much! and brandon is super nice! somehow i was tricked into writing a song about their work and brandon was gonna read moroni 6!.. sis krebs! whats goin on! so its a work in progress. so far ive got

we were a little estatic! hahaha we went over and talked to him. we read some of the isaiah chapters in 2 nephi!!! soo confusing, i feel real silly tryin to explain it. so i dont, i let sis krebs. she understands it!! haha i mess up words and such so i skip it. and it came to pass that something passed down to someone and they went somewhere! i hope yall understand it because thats what i was sayin! ahh! im ganna start workin on my speech... :P but then we talked to him more. he is opening up to us a WHOLE BUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!our modern day alma is amazing yall! we flippen love him!!! We set a bcd. September 14.

i want yall to know what is happening inside me right now. My heart is jumping out of my body and im holding back screams and laughs and tears!! HE WANTS TO GET BAPTIZED!!!!!!! He wants to get baptized in a river like they do in BoM. not a tub haha so we're thinkin about wakulla springs! best thing ever! we need to talk to him more about it. and bishop too. so much to do! so little time! ahh! were really really happy for him! i guess the past weekend he went to a party where there was lots of drinkin and girls. but he didnt participate in it! he said he was standing up for what he believed! when on tuesday he was doubting it all! sayin how he likes drinkin and coffee etc. and he didnt know what he wanted!! but now he believes it!!! we are almost done teachin him everything. oh my Brother Peters ahaha weird. he does not want to be called that! hahaha He really wants to get baptized before our transfer is over. its sweet but we said it is ganna happen when he is ready! oh my soo awesome!!!

so after that lesson we got into the car and drove down the street. screamming!! and fist bumping and elbow touching. (long story) hahaha so awesome!!

 also we had a bunch of storms this last week. ok like every day but a bunch of trees fell down!! we saw one trailer sliced in half by this giant pine tree! and than this HUGE! not even playin it must have been thousands of years old! it fell into the middle of the road! and so they were cuttin it up! but it was crazy! trees are fallin everywhere! oh i love trees. question is, is there such things as tree doctors? weird! also you can major in librarian! ahhh!!!!!! THis past week has felt like forever yet no time! time away from denis felt like forever! he told us he missed us and that was it for us! hahaha ok yall be good this week! keep the sabbath day holy! that includes shoppin!! and never break your promises.
